How Does This All Work?
Fill Out the form.
The request form has space so you can tell me all about your quilt project, and let me know your preferences for the finishing touches. Your project is unique, and I definitely want to know everything about it! I will contact you within 24 hours of submission to gather any additional information and to send you my address.
Ship It Out.
Mail (or drop off) your quilt top and backing. I highly recommend you opt for tracking on your package to be certain your hard work is protected. Once your quilt arrives, I will finalize the quilting design and other choices with you.
ALL DONE!
When your quilt is complete I will send you an invoice and pictures showing off the quilting. Once you pay the invoice, I will mail it back to you. I always insure and track client projects, mailing in discreet packaging to protect your work.
Longarm Quilting Services
Edge-to-edge pantograph quilting is 2.5¢ per square inch for most designs. There is a $60 minimum charge per quilt.
Once you send your quilt, I will begin quilting. This starts with
measuring your quilt, loading it onto my longarm quilting machine, and quilting. When I’m done, I will send photos of your quilt and an invoice via email. After you pay the invoice, I will ship your quilt back to you!
Your quilt will be mailed in discreet, protected and insured packaging
Batting Options
I carry Quilter’s Dream batting. This batting is high-quality, made in the USA, and it quilts like a dream! In-stock options include:
Cotton batting is the most traditional choice for quilting. Made with all natural cotton fiber grown in the USA. Cotton batting has excellent drape, is very warm, and breathable. Your quilt will shrink just slightly after washing.
This luxurious batting is a blend of bamboo, silk, tencel and cotton. It has a lovely drape (even with dense quilting) and a higher loft, so the quilting will be more pronounced. Minimal shrinkage.
This batting is 80% cotton and 20% polyester. The added polyester makes it more durable, and less likely to shrink after washing and crease after continued use.
Binding Services
I offer binding services in two fishing options in two widths:
When you receive your quilt back, it will be ready for hand stitching the binding down. It may not be completely finished… but you’re one step closer!
This is the most popular choice! My method for completely binding a quilt by machine involves sewing the binding to the front of the quilt and machine stitching on the front.
If you would like to take advantage of this service, please include binding fabric when you drop off or mail your quilt top and make sure it is clearly labeled. Making the binding strips is included in the above pricing.

Are you overwhelmed by selecting which design you would like to use? I would love to help you select a design that best complements the style of your quilt top. Indicate on your request form that you need help choosing, and I will send you a few designs I think would look perfect on your quilt.
If you want to use a design not shown in the library, I will split the cost of the new design with you!

Prep Work Checklist
Getting ready to submit your quilt top for quilting? Please review the following requirements to make sure you get the best possible results.
- Make sure your batting and backing are larger than your quilt top by 4” on all sides. If your quilt top is 60”x60”, your backing should be 68”x68”.
- Square up your backing fabric so there are no uneven edges.
- Backing seams should be pressed open if possible, with the selvedges removed.
- Label the top of your quilt top and backing with a note and/or a pin.
- Give your quilt top and backing a fresh press before mailing or dropping off.
- Clip loose threads, especially dark threads that may show through white fabric.
- If you are shipping your quilt, fold your quilt top, backing, and batting separately. Place them in a plastic bag inside the mailing box or envelope.

I understand that you may have some questions, others do too!
Here are some questions I get pretty often.
I sew on a Q’Nique 21X Elite on a 10’ frame.
I prefer to use OMNI or Superior Threads, high quality polyester threads. I have it available in a variety of shades.
I do not repair quilt.
I try hard to keep my turnaround time between 2 and 3 weeks depending on my current workload.
Edge-to-edge, I can sew quilt tops up to 102” wide. Length doesn’t matter!
I am currently only accepting cotton or flannel materials. I am not able to accept non-traditional fabrics for quilt backings, including minky, chenille, fleece, upholstery, garment fabrics, or bed sheets. I will decline any material that may cause mechanical issues with my equipment.
I am open to discussing custom quilting or making t-shirt quilts.
